North Jersey accent

Okay, so I'm starting a thread about regional accents in the United States. I grew up in north Jersey (Bergen county, to be exact), and have about a zillion hallmarks of that in my accent.I recorded a vid of myself reciting this well-planned text:"This text is about the fact that the vast majority of the oranges in Florida's forests slapped their foreheads when they were informed that they would become marinara sauce tomorrow. They used their oral sense to describe the comparison of the aural experience witnessing the aura of the fisherman putting the oar in the oarlock. He forbade them to use forceps in order to remove the strap from the bag so that it didn't drag on the bath tiles. As time went on, more and more of them jabbed themselves with their pins as they bent down to pick up their pens. One day, an orange got caught as he was trying to nap on a cot. Don, a stocky guy, was stalking Dawn, when the orange grabbed him by the collar. Congratulations, Mary, you're caller number four on our show about happily married couples. Merry Christmas! How would you feel about having to fill a jar with your moral outrage? Can you please put some water in the washing machine, Gloria? I need to go park my car in Harvard yard. The fact that you want to go say amen to the Arabs is controversial. Yes, Darlene, some cranberry tea would be lovely. The bank wants to foreclose on our mortgage, because the meteorologists forecast three foreign camels galloping in. Minnesota, oh, what a depraved place! Tons of bunnies wish they could vacate before the horses become hoarse. Can't you take half of the wine out of the bottle so that your father doesn't have to bother? He'll just whine about it. Get that butter away from the cat's fur! Does everybody want to strut around the lot, from what nobody can be anybody because we're all Taoist? Can you ask your peer to get a pair of pure mules, so that we can be sure to cure the mature fir tree? Yes, I can put that in the tin can. The writer was a rider of the meddled metal latter's ladder. The winner of the winter races wants four mornings for mourning. Where in Wales can you wear wet whale wine, and whet someone's palette? Can we cross the street so that we can talk law over some coffee? Should they put more uranium in the core of the nuclear reactor? God's been on Bob about getting a new car. The bad bat caused an unplanned clatter in the classroom. You'd better hurry before you become furry. They have better toilets in Jersey. The bard's bared his beard with butter on the board in the boor of the bird. Do you want your loin cut along this line? There's a lull in the level here. Chris came to see this thing yesterday, and we'll return tomorrow. No, I'm not from Long Island. Can you smell the Manhattan raisins that Brenda, Carla, Debra, Ella, Tina, and Barbara have written on Rudy Giuliani's dentures? The crayons are off on a voyage in Ho-Ho-Kus and Wyckoff with Allen and Ellen, and their friend Eleanor. I hope you like the hallmarks of apples in my accent."So yeah. Here's a fun accent quiz here: http://www.gotoquiz.com/what_american...What I'm hoping is that people will post video responses of themselves reading that same text, for comparison (and laughs, of course).Enjoy!
